National standard

Recently, the State Administration of market supervision and administration and the National Standardization Administration issued the No. 13 national standard announcement in 2019, approving the release of 343 national standards and 2 amendments to national standards, including the national standard "air brake pipe connector between road vehicle tractor and trailer" (GB / T 13881-2019), which was revised by the highway institute, The implementation date of the standard is May 1, 2020.

This national standard is revised on the basis of "air brake pipe connector between tractor and trailer" (GB / T 13881-1992), which specifies the type, interchangeability, dimension, performance requirements, test method, installation and identification of air brake pipe connector between tractor and trailer, and is applicable to air brake pipe connector for double pipe air brake system of vehicle train.

The standard non equivalently adopts the relevant contents of interchangeability in ISO 1728:2006 "interchangeability of air brake connector between road vehicle tractor and trailer", and modifies the requirements of color identification; Compared with the original national standard, the performance requirements and test methods are added, the installation position and the length of jumper hose are modified, and the interchangeability dimension parameters and color identification requirements of connectors are modified.

The structure and content of the standard are more scientific, reasonable and applicable.
